Snapshots

Overview

Snapshots are summary areas that help users understand the current state of a module before opening detailed records. They may show counts, status information, readiness indicators, recent activity, or quick links depending on the module.

Before You Begin

  • Open a module that includes a snapshot or summary area.
  • Understand which metrics matter for your role.

Requirements

  • Workspace access.
  • Permission to view the module and related records.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open a OneSuite module such as CRM, Communications, Payments, POS, Workforce, or Administration.
  2. Review the top summary or snapshot area.
  3. Use snapshot cards to identify records that need attention.
  4. Select available quick links or filtered views where provided.
  5. Refresh the page after completing work if the snapshot needs to update.

Expected Result

The snapshot should help you decide what needs attention without opening every record manually.

Screenshots

Production screenshots appear here only after approved OneSuite captures are attached.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Use snapshots at the start of the day to identify priorities.
  • Do not treat snapshot counts as accounting reports unless the module specifically labels them as reports.
  • Use the related list or report page for detailed review.

Troubleshooting

  • If a snapshot count seems incorrect, refresh the page and check filters.
  • If the snapshot is empty, the module may not have data yet or your role may not have permission.
  • If a snapshot card is crowded on small screens, view it on desktop or rotate the device when appropriate.
